Manufacturing Engineering Technicians with the following background:
1. Job Summary
Create and maintain basic manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials (BOMs), work instructions and graphic illustrations. Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements and manage tools from initial design to end of use disposition.
Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues. Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs. Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedule requirements. Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Maintain configuration control of the manufacturing build plan.
Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layouts of equipment and workspace. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
2. Major Responsibilities

*Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology.
*Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
*Identify tooling requirements and tooling dispositions.
*Gather and analyze data for problem resolution, product definition, issue investigation, manufacturability of design and change schedule development.
*Design, review, test and maintain manufacturing methods processes.
*Perform producibility assessments.
*Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layouts of equipment and workspace.
*Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
3. Additional Responsibilities
*Participate in lean manufacturing efforts.
*Provide technical support to operations.
4. Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
*Education: Associates Degree in a technical field preferred
*Experience: 3 years of related experience preferred
*Computer Skills: Ability to use technological tools and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data. Ability to operate relevant personal computing hardware and standard
