Avionic/Electrical Design Engineer

Description:
Prepares engineering data (drawings, parts lists, Functional Test Plans and Reports, Airplane Flight Manual Supplements etc.) using manufacturer specifications and instruction manuals in compliance with FAA regulations; review sales proposals for engineering requirements; liaison with technicians concerning all aspects of the installation from the initial installation through final check-out procedures. Must demonstrate a high level of technical confidence, commitment to customer service and satisfaction, and team oriented goal achievements. Consistently maintain a positive attitude and uses open and honest communication techniques. Leads by example, fostering a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement to peers and other employees. Accepts responsibility, demonstrates initiative and attention to detail, and projects a professional image consistent with the company’s and department’s identity, mission and goals.
Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Required: Proficiency with MS Office, AUTOCAD.
Required: 5 to 10 years of Business aircraft modification design experience or related business.
Preferred: Previous experience working with the FAA.
Preferred: FAA A & P, FCC w/Radar Endorsement, Pilot
