JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct reliability analysis and safety assessment of electronic and electromechanical devices containing Analog, Digital and RF circuitry.  Analyses include Stress Analysis, Reliability Prediction, FMECA, Testability Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis and System Hazard Analysis.  Write detailed reliability analysis and safety assessment reports.

Interface with Design Engineer to review reliability and safety requirements.  Perform reliability analysis of new design to ascertain the potential for meeting specified reliability requirements.  Provide recommendations to assure compliance with reliability requirements. Participate in design reviews and present results of analyses to customer.  Interface with customer on reliability and safety of designs as required.  Coordinate reliability activities with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

FRACAS:  Monitor and assist product failure recording.  Participate in product failure analysis to determine the root cause and corrective action recommendations.  Provide failure reports to customers.

A CMP Module Manager is responsible for all CMP operations (Oxide, W, Cu), Copper plating and the associated metrology operations.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

- Responsible for building up the CMP module operation team. This includes developing a staffing and training plan for process engineers, Module Operation Manager (MOM), Module Shift Managers (MSM), maintenance technicians (MT) and wafer fab technician (WFT) to support the fab technology and production goals from startup to full ramp.

- Work with HR to develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the module staffing requirements.

- Work with HR, L/D Organization to develop and execute training plans for all job levels in order to meet the job performance requirements and support the production ramp plan for Fab 2.

- Work with IE group to develop and execute capital equipment plan to meet and support the Fab production schedule.

- Lead the CET (core equipment team) to evaluate and make equipment purchase recommendations to the STC (Strategic Technology Council) in order to meet the technology and/or production requirements.

- Work with IE (Industry Engineering) and LM (Lean Manufacturing) to continuously improve manufacturing effectiveness and drive cost reduction.

- Work with equipment suppliers to improve equipment performance, reliability and cost reduction.

- Provide process engineering expertise and support to Integration team and R/D organization for new technology insertion and qualification. Continue to improve process robustness to meet volume manufacturing requirements.

- Provide process engineering expertise and support to Integration, Product Engineering and Quality organizations to ensure products meet customers’ performance and reliability specification.

Must be able to:

• Provide expertise as DCMA moves into a Cognos 8 Dashboarding environment. 


• Coordinate with database developers in the creation and maintenance of metrics utilizing Metrics Studio. 


• Collaborate with Oracle database developers to troubleshoot reporting issues and in designing new reporting applications. 


• Coordinate with application developers when creating a new reporting application in conjunction with a new application effort. 


• Maintain development server environments. 


•  Perform tuning of reports created against transactional database. 


• Provide expertise in designing Framework manager data models.  


• Contribute to application and technical architecture analysis, design and implementation, and ensure BI product fulfills requirements. 


• Develop BI application products and deliverables throughout development life cycle. 


• Adhere to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews. 


• Understand specific application area from an industry, functional and technical perspective. 


• Identify problems and notify supervisor’s attention with sufficient lead time.

Permanent salary range: $85K-$95K per year Commensurate with Education & years of Experience; (Education and Experience must be Relevant; example; MS in CIS with 15 years of Software Applications/Database Development/Reporting experience.

The Program-assigned Mission Systems Engineering (MSE) Leader is responsible for leading a program element, space segment, or space vehicle SE Team to direct and control a totally integrated engineering development for the space segment elements. This position applies to a number of open positions within the National Security Space Business Division.

As a senior-level engineer, the position is expected to be self-directed using previous experience to lead spacecraft design and analysis efforts and recognize and mitigate instrument, spacecraft and mission technical issues while operating within budget.





 

RESPONSIBILITIES           

- Lead and critique spacecraft design and analysis efforts in general

- Conceive and develop solutions to complex analytical, design, and test problems that the program may experience

- Develop and provide input to the Program Systems Engineering Management Plan

- Space segment chief technical interface at all scheduled program meetings and reviews

- Technical management of the payload, and major bus subcontracted program elements

- Planning and conduct of all contractual space segment technical reviews

- Responsible for consistency of the reliability and safety contamination and other product assurance plans with objectives

- Responsible to write monthly status and technical performance reviews and reports

- Earned Value Management System baseline generation, tracking/maintenance and variance analysis

- Mentor, guide, and advise junior staff

- Other duties as assigned

 

The MSE Lead will oversee and manage the spacecraft systems engineering team over the course of the program.

 The Project Scheduler supports the business unit by providing detailed project schedules which support the entire project cycle from development to operations. ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES.

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing project templates in conjunction with the project team, including critical path analysis, alternate schedules, and implementing variables into scheduled (Monte Carlo analysis). The scheduler may have to maintain several schedules at any given time for various sub projects in various stages.

The scheduler interacts with the onsite engineering and construction teams by working with the site team on project status, identifying opportunities for improvement, delays and areas were additional concentration is required.

The project scheduler interacts with the project co-coordinator to support all reporting activity of the project.

The project scheduler supports the rest of the project support team as needed including project set up, cost control, change order tracking and reports.
